Bootleg not original

This is not an original western Digital product, it's packaged as such but is not. It's not that stable, it randomly loses its connection to the laptop. Do not use this Hard Drive for storing sensitive or important documents, the drive will fail sooner than you think. I just needed a drive to dump about 400 gigs of old media downloads, the maximum transfer speed was 41 mbs, it took 4 hrs 25 mins to transfer everything. The USB cable provided in the box is extremely short, extremely short. There's no protective pouch bag provided at all as claimed. Also reformatt the drive, scan it for errors, than re formatt it again. Do not plug this external hard disk into anything that had no serious ant virus and or anti malaria protection, trust me, be safe.
