The protagonist, Chase, initially mistakes the zombies for -fueled hallucinations. The narrative follows the group as they discover that staying high on meth is the only way to avoid becoming infected themselves, leading them on a desperate search for supplies. The book is a dark, comedic portrait of addiction, hope, and survival.
