The story is set in a world inspired by Norse mythology, Beowulf, and Ragnarök. It is a brutal place "of blood. Of tooth and claw and sharp iron. Of short lives and painful deaths". 

• Plot: The narrative follows multiple strong protagonists in a land where the old gods have long ago waged war and died, leaving behind a world haunted by the remnants of their power and monstrous beings called vaesen. 

• Themes: The plot includes a savage hunt by a parent for their child, reminiscent of Taken, and an immersive worldbuilding experience as the characters navigate the dangers of Vigrið.
