I have never bought a Scarlett kettle that lasted for more than a year. However, this one set the record of breaking down earlier than the rest. It arrived well and worked well for about a week and two days. Then, it refused to switch itself off, so you have to manually switch it off if you don't want it to consume all your Yaka units! I am unfortunately sending it to the garbage dump.
