This is an 8 in 1 set meaning it can style hair, straighten hair, create volume  and it can also blow dry hair. it comes with detachable combs for styling and straightening your hair plus adding volume to it. the hair will look wavy, with a silk feel and it appears thicker. incase you want to style the hair, make sure the comb is attached. then for blow drying your hair, remove the comb then plug to a power supply and begin to blow dry after pressing the button. This is a very portable machine that you will find very useful especially when travelling because it is so portable. Either way, the machine works only after connecting it to a power source.
 All combs can be detached and replaced as needed. If you want to use the machine for blow drying, remove all combs.
