Swimming Pool Disinfection
Routine chlorination:
Use 3–5 grams per 1,000 liters (1m³) of pool water daily.
Shock treatment (deep cleaning):
Use 10–15 grams per 1,000 liters (1m³) of pool water.
Always dissolve the chlorine in a bucket of water before adding it to the pool — never add chlorine directly.
Drinking Water Treatment
Normal chlorination:
Use 1 teaspoon (about 5 grams) of Chlorine 65 in 2,000–2,500 liters of water.
Mix well and let stand for at least 30 minutes before use.
Surface Disinfection (Floors, Toilets, Bathrooms, etc.)
Mix 1 tablespoon (about 15 grams) of Chlorine 65 in 10 liters of water.
Use the solution to mop or disinfect surfaces.
Food Handling Areas / Equipment
Use 10 grams in 20 liters of water.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water after disinfecting.
Always wear gloves, goggles, and a mask when handling Chlorine 65.
Avoid mixing it with acids, detergents, or ammonia — this can release toxic chlorine gas.
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Never inhale the dust or fumes.
Keep out of reach of children and animals.
Always add chlorine to water, not the other way around, to prevent splashing and reactions.
