Aladdin & the Enchanted Lamp is a graded reader in the Oxford Bookworms Library series by Oxford University Press. It is adapted by Judith Dean.

The story takes place in a city in Arabia and focuses on Aladdin, a poor and lazy young man who lives with his mother.

The Magician's Trick: One day, a wicked magician from Morocco, who pretends to be Aladdin's long-lost uncle, comes to town. The magician needs a specific boy—Aladdin—to retrieve a magical artifact from a hidden cave. He pretends to be kind, giving Aladdin's family money and a coat to win their trust.

The Cave and the Lamp: The magician takes Aladdin to a secret cave. He gives Aladdin a magic ring for protection and tells him to go inside and bring back an old lamp. Aladdin finds the lamp, but when he refuses to hand it over until he is out of the cave, the magician gets angry and seals the entrance, trapping Aladdin inside.
