The RL-500H auto-darkening welding helmet gives fast, reliable eye and face protection for welding, cutting and other high-intensity work. Its high-tech lens instantly darkens on arc detection to protect against harmful UV/IR and bright light while maintaining a clear view in light state. The helmet is lightweight, impact-resistant and designed to fit comfortably for long sessions.
Safety & Maintenance Notes
The helmet always provides UV/IR protection (DIN16) even when in light state — do not rely on other eyewear alone.
Replace cracked or heavily scratched lenses immediately.
Do not operate or store at temperatures outside −5 to +55 °C.
Keep solar cell exposed to some light so battery can recharge; replace CR2032 when auto-darkening performance degrades.
Clean lens with a soft cloth and approved lens cleaner. Avoid solvents that damage plastics.
This helmet protects against optical hazards from welding and cutting; for other workplace hazards (chemical, electrical), use appropriate PPE.
