Function: It automatically disconnects power to the connected appliance when the mains voltage drops below or goes above a pre-set limit (e.g., undervoltage, high voltage, surges, and spikes).

Time Delay: When power returns to acceptable limits, the device incorporates a built-in delay (typically 90 seconds or 3 minutes, depending on the model) before automatically reconnecting the power. This delay allows the compressor gases in a fridge or freezer to neutralise, which is critical to preventing damage.

TimeSave™ Function: Some models feature an intelligent TimeSave function which reduces the re-connection wait time to approximately 10 seconds if the power has already been off for more than the standard delay period, maximizing appliance operation time.
