This book is a retelling of the well-known fable, which traditionally features a contest between the Sun and the Wind to determine who is stronger.

The test is to see who can make a traveling man take off his coat. The Wind attempts to use sheer force, blowing with all its might, which only causes the man to hold his coat tighter. The Sun then chooses a different approach, shining brightly and kindly, which makes the man feel warm and willingly take off his coat.
