Nokia recently launched the Nokia 5310, a spiritual successor to its 2007-era XpressMusic 5310. The new, 2020 variant features a lightly updated design while retaining a 2.4-in QVGA display, candy bar form factor, and a 0.3MP camera.

Perusing the 2020 Nokia 5310's specifications feels like a trip back in time. This is a feature phone, meaning you won't get access to Google Play services or, well, Android in general. The Nokia 5310 sports a 2.4-in QVGA display, a 1200 mAh battery and a 8 MB of RAM. That's...1/1000th the memory capacity of the Snapdragon 710-powered Nokia 8.1.

The 5310 runs Mediatek's low-powered MT6260A chipset. Forget 5G, 4G, or even 3G. This SoC only supports 2G EDGE networks. Thankfully the phone does support expandable memory with a micro SDHC slot. This is crucial since playing music is a key focus of the Xpress Music lineup.
