This is a Kuakua Fridge Fresh Odor Neutralizer. It’s essentially a specialized air freshener/deodorizer designed specifically for the cold, humid environment of a refrigerator or freezer.
Unlike a standard spray, these usually contain activated carbon or a neutralizing gel to absorb food smells (like onions or fish) rather than just masking them.
Quick Setup Guide
Open the Lid: Remove the outer plastic wrap. Most models require you to pop off the top vented lid to remove a protective foil seal underneath.
Replace the Lid: Once the seal is gone, snap the vented lid back on. This allows the air to circulate through the neutralizing agent.
Placement: Place it in the back corner of your fridge or freezer where it won't be easily knocked over. It works best if there is a little bit of airflow around it.
The "90-Day" Rule: As noted on the packaging, these typically lose their effectiveness after about 90 days. It’s a good idea to write the date on the side so you know when it’s time for a fresh one.Keep it away from open food: While these are generally non-toxic, you don't want the unit touching fresh produce directly.
Don't block the vents: Make sure the white grill on top isn't covered by bags or containers, or it won't be able to "breathe" in the odors.
Do you have a particularly stubborn smell in your fridge you're trying to get rid of, or are you just doing some preventative maintenance?
