I’ve been using the ZTE U30 Air for two days now, tested on MTN Uganda’s network, and so far it’s performing well. Setup was quick, and it connected to 5G immediately. Carrier aggregation (CA) is active, which helps keep speeds consistent even when the signal fluctuates. I usually have about five devices connected, and it manages them without issues. Streaming, downloads, and research all run smoothly, with no noticeable drops or overheating. Battery life is holding up as expected. The 4500 mAh removable battery gives flexibility for mobile use, and Type-C charging is convenient. All the listed features work—5G/4G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, and NFC. However, it would be great if ZTE added Samba file sharing and eSIM support in future versions. After two days of daily use, I’d say it’s a solid choice for anyone looking for a compact 5G router that performs reliably. The speeds are good for its price, and it’s well-suited for travel, work, or home backup internet. Verdict: Steady 5G and 4G performance on MTN with active CA. Worth it if you need a portable and dependable router.
