It functions well...however the actual keys are not backlit but rather the edges are the ones that are LED backlit. This makes it not easily usable when it is dark as you cannot see the keys clearly but you see the light surrounding the keys. It would be much better if the actual keys were backlit. Also, the brightness of the backlight is not adjustable. The mouse however functions well and is responsive.
