Dell latitude E5450/E7450 Core i5 8GB RAM 500GB HDD -Black The E5450/7450 packs a bright 14-inch HD panel, nonetheless has a comfortable keyboard, and can take a licking. This notebook is meant for work and dresses the part. The Dell Latitude magnesium lid fells incredibly solid. The Dell latitiude's keyboard is quite comfortable. The keys have 1.75 mm of travel and are springy, with 60 grams of force required to press them (more is better). I speed through the Ten Thumbs Typing Test at 88 words per second -- just as fast as I would on most desktop keyboards.
The keyboard has a straightforward, chiclet-style design, with firm keys and good depth of movement, but without the backlighting you might expect to come standard in this price range. While many business systems opt for a dual-pointer design, with a pointing stick on the keyboard, the Latitude E5450 keeps things simple with a multitouch trackpad that handles all of your cursor control and gestures.
There's a fair selection of ports, but most of these will be found on the back of the system, which is an irritating design choice, since it makes connecting peripherals a bit less convenient. Along the back of the system you'll find an Ethernet port, a VGA output, an HDMI-out port, and two USB 3.0 ports, along with a Power jack. On the right are an SD card slot and a single USB 3.0 port, this one with continuous power for charging devices. On the left are headset jack and a case-lock slot.
Internally, the system has dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, along with support for Intel WiDi streaming. Optional wireless features include mobile broadband and WiGig connectivity, but those extras will need to be added during configuration. The laptop also boasts a fair number of security and management features, like FIPS-certified Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2, Intel vPro, and an integrated connection for for Dell's E-Dock desktop docking station.
The Dell Latitude 14 is a pretty straightforward work laptop, with a healthy port selection, a nice HD display, and enough battery life to take you through a full work day. It's a competent work machine, but other systems offer similar performance with more portable designs, premium features, and longer battery life.

the charger just stopped working plus the doesn't last more than an hour
Hard drive and the battery have both failed after 2 weeks. I'm replacing them soon with an SSD and new battery. This is the first time a Jumia product has disappointed me. You did not refurbish this laptop, you just wiped it with sanitizer and put it on sale
Working well.
