Dynamogen Oral Solution 10ml Cyproheptadine
Dynamogen oral solution contains cyproheptadine a first generation antihistamine that can provide relief from allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, sneezing, hives and itching. It is also a very potent appetite stimulant and is indicated for lack of appetite, weight loss and anorexia nervosa (an eating disorder with low body weight). It can also be used by those who are underweight/malnourished to increase appetite to help with weight gain.

Dosage
Children: 10mL twice daily, preferably taken 30 minutes before food. A child with severe anorexia and weight loss can take 10mL of Dynamogen three times daily.
Adults: An ampoule of Dynamogen to be taken three times daily.
Warnings:
Dynamogen contains 3.58g of saccharose per 10ml ampoule. This must be put into consideration by diabetic patients so as not to increase their blood sugar level.
Contraindications
Due to its content of cyprohepatadine a – ketoglutarate, #dynamogen must not be given to nursing mothers, breastfeeding mothers, premature or newly born children. Though there are no contraindications, its use is not recommended in severe liver or kidney diseases. Because if its high content of saccharine, dynamogen is contraindicated in persons living with diabetes. Pregnant women should also not take dynamogen.
