I liked that the Minelab pinpoints well from the tip, easier than my Garrett pinpointer, which also reads equally well from the side making locating item in a hole more difficlt than the Minelab. However the Garrett can read further into the soil which is especially useful when used in parks to pinpoint where to dig the hole.
